The date and time on the same line as the edit is the editorial timestamp. The desk reads the date first.
The source name carries the editorial provenance. Where the source is the official broadcaster, the desk says so; where it is the team-association press release, the desk says so.
The editorial stamp is the desk's accountability row. Sixer signs off each edit; the corrections log carries the dated corrections.
The context row carries the working read — what the fact means for the desk's coverage. The context row is the editorial bridge between the fact and the reader.
